Scotland occupies about 1/3 of the island and is the most northern part of the United Kingdom. The country is known as the home of the Modern Golf and famous for kilts, bagpipes, its whiskey and ‘’Nessie’’ the legend of the monster of Loch Ness.

There are many reasons you should visit this amazing country; the rich and ancient history, extraordinary looking landscape, the hundreds of castles and the culture are just a couple of them. One of the most fascinating places in Scotland is Skara Brae. Skara Brae is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites. Discovered in 1850 when a storm blew away part of the sand dunes, showing part of the prehistoric stone village, still intact.
